Nanoprotech Anticor for Bike, Scooter and Quad
Lubricate and Protect friction units
How to use NPT products on your bicycle
A bicycle has a number of key moving parts and to keep it as healthy as possible it’s important to make sure these parts are well lubricated and free from corrosion. Our Nanoprotech Anticorr product is perfect for this and here we make some suggestions on how to use our product.
Your chain rings, chain and derailleurs (if you’re not on a fixie) are the most obvious moving parts on your bicycle and to keep them in good order we recommend giving a light spray to all the parts at about 10 inches distance, so that everything has an even coating but isn’t dripping (although you may need to get closer for some of the nooks and crannies!). Then let the bike stand for a short while (30-60-mins) so that the spray can work it’s way in to all the parts. Below you can see examples of the parts we recommend spraying.
You can also spray the cable lines for the brakes and gears as this will help them stay moving freely but more importantly stop the cables corroding. Likewise you can spray in to the down pipe drain hole to create a water repellant coating, this is an important thing to do as piping on steel frame bikes can easily rust from the inside out if moisture in allowed to sit
And if you have any stuck nuts or bolts our
product will help free them far better than any of our competitors! Give the nut or bolt a spray and let the
spray work its way in. If the nut
doesn’t free off straight away apply a little more spay until you are able to
free the nut.
You could even experiment a little with using
the spray in your wheel bearings.
Finally, here’s an example of how great our Nanoprotech Electric spray is at keeping your bike lights running for much longer during the wet and wintery season.
